Tomáš Švéda's work is entirely dedicated to the ancient artistic genre of painting, the two dimensions of a sheet of paper or canvas. For Tomáš Švéda, painting is a manifestation and unfolding of something previously unseen and unexpected in the world. The inspiration for Švéda's work from nature, presenting itself to man as landscape, is evident. It is determined by the power of flowing life. His paintings are energetic fields, time segments of a journey, where the artist, through painting, touches the never-ending variable discourse of the power of nature.
