Accessibility Statement

OMGM is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with Act No. 99/2019 Coll., on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications and amending Act No. 365/2000 Coll., on information systems of public administration and amending certain other laws, as amended, which implements the Directive of the European Parliament and Council (EU) 2016/2102 of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (Official Journal L 327, 2.12.2016, p. 1).

The accessibility statement applies to the following website: www.muzeummost.cz

Information Structure

The structure of information on the pages has been created according to the specification W3C HTML 5 and visually formatted with cascading styles (CSS 3) – the appearance of the pages and their functionality are subject to the capabilities of users with disabilities. Adherence to the aforementioned standards should ensure proper display of the content of the pages in most commonly used browsers and on most display devices.

Compliance Status

This website is partially compliant with Act No. 1) and further with EN 301 549 V2 1.2 and the WCAG 2.1 standard.

Content Accessibility

The website offers information in the form of documents in DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, and PDF formats, primarily because they contain typographic elements and formatting that the HTML web format does not support, or they are too large, therefore we recommend downloading them. DOC and PDF formats are also more suitable for printing. To view these documents, you can download Word Viewer and Acrobat Reader for free. Some web browsers have integrated applications that serve to view the aforementioned document formats.

The accessibility of the informational content of the website is always the same and fully functional regardless of the technology used for its presentation. The pages have full visual and functional support in the following browsers on PC and Android/iOS platforms:

  • FireFox, Chrome, Edge, Opera (100 and higher)
  • Safari (16 and higher)

Furthermore, full support for the pages in the web browser requires the following:

  • automatic loading of images
  • processing of cascading styles
  • interpretation of JavaScript

Without enabling these features and for other browsers, platforms, and output devices, a consistent appearance and functionality of the presentation may not always be maintained.

Inaccessible Content

The content listed below is not accessible, as bringing these deficiencies into compliance with the law and accessibility rules would be financially burdensome for the operator, so according to § 7 of Act 99/2019 Coll., this is not additionally modified and a temporary exemption is applied due to disproportionate burden in the sense of Article 5 of Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

  • some PDF documents on the website do not have a machine-readable layer (Rule 1.1.1 Non-text Content)
  • PDF - viewing this type of file can be done in the freely available Adobe Acrobat Reader program or with the built-in functions of the browser
  • DOC, XLS, PPT, XLS and DOCx, PPTx, XLSx - formats of the Microsoft Office suite, for which a viewer for these documents is freely available for download
  • RTF - Rich Text Format - can be displayed by most commonly used text editors
  • ZIP - some files may be compressed due to size or the need to bundle multiple files together
