We send publications by cash on delivery or by invoice (for organizations). The stated prices will be increased by postage and packaging according to the Czech Post Price List. The price depends on the weight of the publications (minimum price for cash on delivery 120 CZK, for invoice 80 CZK).
Magazine Under Hněvín
The magazine has been published regularly since 2018. It introduces readers to history, art, and scientific discoveries in both social sciences and natural sciences. It brings results from the work of our researchers and external collaborators who work closely with us.
The magazine can be purchased at the reception of our museum.

The magazine is listed in the official document of the Council for Research, Development, and Innovation of the Government of the Czech Republic: List of Reviewed Non-Impact Journals Published in the Czech Republic.
The publisher is the Regional Museum and Gallery in Most, contributory organization, Čsl. armády 1360/35, 434 01 Most, Czech Republic (phone +420 476 442 111). The editorial office is also located at the above address; distribution is handled by the museum library (tel. 476 102 270).
The magazine began publication in 1974 under the name Proceedings of the District Museum in Most, Natural Science Series (ISSN 0231-7656). In 2003, it transformed into the Proceedings of the Regional Museum in Most, Natural Science Series (ISSN 1214-2573). The current frequency is annual, and the editorial deadline for the next issue is March 31, 2024.

Focus of the Proceedings:
The proceedings publish original scientific papers from botany, zoology, geology, and related fields, especially focusing on floristics, faunistics, and ecology in the northwestern part of Bohemia and adjacent areas. We also publish short original communications, personnel notes, and reviews.
General Conditions for Submitting Contributions
Submitted manuscripts undergo a peer review process involving two independent reviewers and the editorial board. If the work has already undergone peer review (e.g., as part of an internal task defense), please attach a copy of the review that may be accepted by the editorial board. Peer reviews are anonymous and serve only the editorial board. Authors will receive comments and recommendations for revisions of the contribution.
The author will be informed by email at the address from which the contribution was sent regarding the acceptance or rejection of the contribution for publication. All further dealings related to the publication of the article will be conducted through the first author. The editorial board does not guarantee when the article will be published. Materials sent to the editorial board will not be returned.
Authors agree that the same article has not been published elsewhere and has not been submitted for publication to another journal. The first author is responsible for the consent of all co-authors for the publication of the article, as well as for the consent of the institutions where they work.
Length of the contribution: up to 10 printed pages. Acceptance of longer works must be consulted with the executive editor and arrangements made for possible division into separate parts.
Submission of Contributions:
Contributions are published in Czech, or by agreement with the editorial board in German or English, with an English or German abstract. For longer works, a summary is required. Manuscripts should be sent electronically to the editorial address: joza.vomgm.cz. Telephone consultation is possible at +420 414 120 238. For better communication, it is advisable to provide a phone contact.
