Vernissage of the Exhibition Crocheted Beauty

Anna Dvořáková belongs to a generation of women who mastered most handcrafts and continues the tradition of crocheted napkins with blocking and starching according to the original technique.

Through crocheting, she creates a wide range of doilies, napkins, decorative pendants, as well as everyday items (socks, bags), sachets for fragrant mixtures, and various animal figurines, or even television and movie characters. Her products not only supply her large family but also contribute to charitable and philanthropic events, or she sends them for free, for example, to children's homes.

She rarely sticks to a template, so most of what she creates is original. Some figurines and characters were created solely based on a photograph, her own skill, and imagination.

The exhibition will last until the end of September 2022.
