The largely unprocessed sub-collection of Numismatics consists of several older museum and private collections of coins, medals, orders, and banknotes. The banknote collection contains a comprehensive and well-organized set of German hyperinflation banknotes from the 1920s, one of the largest collection sets in the Czech Republic.
The coin collection predominantly features complete series of European coins from the period of 1890 to 1930, almost in complete mint series. Older numismatics are represented by Hellenistic and Roman coins. Medieval and early modern numismatics are only represented in a general framework. Regionally interesting is the small but very important collection of regional tokens and utility stamps.
However, the collection of orders is significant, containing a large number of regional issues of commemorative or association medals and badges from the Most and Litvínov regions. Furthermore, the orders include memorials to notable citizens of Most and regional participants in World War I and II.
