The exhibition is about a man who lived two extraordinary lives. Ernest Hemingway referred to him as the greatest expert on Africa of his time. Discover his life and the black continent during the time he filmed it - at the turn of the 50s and 60s. He was born as Ladislav at a time when Austria-Hungary was still in full strength. He became an actor, dancer, director, and producer. He became famous in the world as John L. Brom - an African traveler and documentarian. He made films with Baarová, Burian, and Marvan, and after emigrating to escape communism, he fell in love with the black continent.
