Just as the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was moved 841 meters further in Most, a significant part of the Swedish city of Kiruna is also being relocated three kilometers away, including the church and the center of social life of the local community. The image brings the viewer closer to the current events in the eighteen-thousand-strong northernmost city of Sweden - Kiruna, which will soon cease to exist in its current form. Just as the North Bohemian Most was condemned to destruction years ago, the northern Swedish Kiruna will also give way to mining. Due to subsidence on the surface, the Kiruna mines began to threaten the city that stands on it. Residents were able to express their opinions on the future of the city in a referendum. Due to the existential dependence of the population on work in the mine, they decided to continue mining and relocate the entire city of Kiruna...
