DetailOpening of the exhibition: Hans Kudlich

The opening of the exhibition took place on Thursday, March 3, 2022, and the exhibition will last until April 30. Hans Kudlich was a participant in the revolutionary events of 1848-49, a member of the Austrian Imperial Council, which met in Vienna and Kroměříž, and mainly the proposer of the law abolishing serfdom, which is why he is rightly considered the liberator of the peasant people from serfdom. For his efforts to abolish serfdom, the inhabitants of the Kingdom of Bohemia and not only him began to erect monuments in memory of his deeds. Tourist observation towers were named after him, so this exhibition also aims to commemorate his personality. The exhibition is Czech-German and consists of 25 panels. To date, the exhibition has been presented in dozens of places in the Czech Republic, Austria, and Germany. The exhibition was prepared by the Regional Museum in Chomutov in cooperation with the Friends of Hans Kudlich Association.
