We invite you on February 16, 2023, from 4 PM to an interesting lecture presenting the new book
MINERALS OF KRUPKA, CÍNOVEC AND MOLDAVA
Mineralogist and geologist Pavel Dvořák will present the famous mineralogical localities of the Krušné Mountains and also the newly published book. The book was published in December 2022 after five years of effort by a team of authors.
The book Geological Wealth of Krupka, Cínovec and Moldava is unique in terms of geology, the history of ore mining, and a detailed list of minerals from these three locations. It contains about 850 maps, plans, historical photographs, and postcards, as well as hundreds of photographs of minerals from Krupka, Cínovec, and Moldava. (The book also includes several photographs of objects related to mining in the area described in the book, from the collections of the Regional Museum and Gallery in Most.)
Admission is 20 CZK.
