27.2.2016 - 3.5.2016
This interactive exhibition is primarily aimed at school trips and families with children. It briefly guides the visitor through the history of writing and writing instruments leading to the invention of the graphite pencil. We explore the pencil from a technological perspective and as an object worthy of admiration that has remained in human hands for nearly 200 years with almost no change.
The interactive panels are designed so that both adults and children can walk through the exhibition together and absorb the theme in an engaging way.
As part of the exhibition, we offer workshops for kindergartens, schools, and families with children. Each visitor will make their own pencil.
The exhibition includes a collection of historical and rare pencils by Emanuel Petráň.
It also features a sales exhibition of original pencil jewelry by Čarbičková design.
The partner of the exhibition is the company KOH-I-NOOR Hardtmuth.
