The music collection of the Regional Museum in Most is currently in the process of being cataloged. In general terms, it can be divided into two main categories: musical instruments and sheet music. These categories include items that fall within a time frame roughly bounded by the second half of the 17th century and the 1930s. Among the relatively wide range of musical instruments, one can see remarkable exhibits, particularly the rare clarinet (1675), trombone (circa 1700), and oboe (1st half of the 18th century), as well as other instruments of similar or later dates.

A significant part of the music collection, however, consists of sheet music, which currently includes several hundred identified, standalone units. This particularly pertains to a musical repertoire of a sacred nature, originating from the 19th and early 20th centuries, whose origins will primarily need to be sought in the environment of the city churches in Most, as well as in now non-existent locations in the surrounding region. Uniquely, the musical legacy of the Minorites in Most is reflected in this regard, encompassing a considerable part of the original convent collection from the 18th century. In addition to the predominant compositions intended for liturgical purposes, it is also important to note the preserved fragment of private music manuscripts from the Levetzow family.
